Dr. Katelyn Lehman is a clinician, systems thinker, and public health leader working at the intersection of neuroscience, ecology, and policy to strengthen community wellbeing. Her work explores how inner coherence—at the level of the nervous system, relationships, and local environments—creates the conditions for healthier, more resilient communities.
As Founder of Quantum Clinic, she pioneered the Coherence Method™, an accredited, evidence-based framework blending biofeedback, floatation REST, frequency therapy, and expressive arts integration. Her clinical innovations have helped secure more than $3 million in support of preventive behavioral health models designed to reduce the over-medicalization of chronic stress and inflammation. Her work has been featured in Vogue, NBC, Forbes, and other major outlets for its unique integration of science, mindfulness, and compassionate psychology.
A bilingual clinician with 15 years of experience, Dr. Katelyn has served immigrant families, trauma survivors, and individuals navigating the intersections of mental health, justice, and social systems. She has provided clinical care, psychological evaluations, and expert testimony in support of human rights, rehabilitation, and asylum, ensuring that empathy and evidence guide decisions that shape people’s lives.
Her early research examined psychological responses to climate change and environmental uncertainty, grounding her commitment to ecosystemic public health. She has since led community workshops across Southern California—from Boyle Heights to Koreatown—helping residents connect everyday decisions about water, energy, food, and waste to larger patterns of resilience and environmental justice.
To bring data-driven impact to public service, Dr. Katelyn joined the Harvard Business Analytics Program, gaining advanced training in analytics, strategic decision-making, and predictive modeling. She currently serves on the California Statewide Epidemiological Workgroup for Prevention, collaborating with DHCS, DPH, county agencies, and community partners to advance equitable, integrative mental health and substance use prevention strategies across the state.
A former lecturer at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Katelyn’s teaching and research span contemplative neuroscience, consciousness studies, complexity science, and heuristic inquiry. She continues to present internationally, including her recent talk, “Neurodynamics and Clinical Implications of Heart-Brain Coherence and Non-Sleep Deep REST” presented at Oxford University.
Across her writing, public speaking, and clinical practice, Dr. Katelyn champions a simple but radical idea: mental health is not just the absence of illness, but the presence of coherence—within individuals, communities, and the living systems we share.
Her mission is practical: to help people uncover the calm, wisdom, and strength already within them, in a way that’s grounded, simple, and impactful.
